Some of the films are cinematic brilliance while other misfires like a Stormtrooper, but all have to be taken into consideration.

RRs Star Trek Film Rankings
So, why do a listing of Star Trek films on the 4th of May? Isn't is almost sacrilegious to talk about Star Trek on May the 4th? Oh, put down your light sabres for a moment and lighten up!
This is added to spark debate on which is the better franchise and to honour the other half that loves the world of Spock and Klingons.
A good question to ask:
Can you love both franchises?
Russelling Reviews would be remise not to have a go at this other beloved set of films that range from the late 70s.
Some are a galaxy apart in quality and value, but it is worth engaging with Kirk & Co. and Picard's team to see what the best of these trips into galaxies where no man has gone before.
We have gone through and looked through the archives of the various conferences, magazines and a personal investigation to compile this list. Through our investigation, RRs has put together its own listing of Star Trek films.
