The new film, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. is coming to theatres soon. The director Guy Ritchie has directed some of the most well written, provocative and exciting films of the past few decades. Unfortunately, he is probably better known for being married to Madonna. With the marriage behind him, he has gone on to make some of the biggest films of his career. 

Interesting facts about Guy Ritchie:

  1. Guy won the MTV Movie Award Best New Filmmaker for Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels in 1999.
  2. Often works with Jason StathamMark Strong and Matthew Vaughn
  3. After watching Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) as a child, Guy realized that what he wanted to do was make films. He never attended film school, saying that the work of film school graduates was boring and unwatchable.
