Not a fan of Christian films but do not despair - there are good films with Christian themes

With the upcoming release of Unbroken, many have asked about other quality films with Christian themes. 

"Unbroken is an upcoming war drama film produced and directed by Angelina Jolie based on the 2010 non-fiction book by Laura Hillenbrand. World War II hero Louis "Louie" Zamperini, a former Olympic track star, survives a plane crash in the Pacific, spends 47 days drifting on a raft, and then more than two and a half years living in several Japanese prisoner of war camps."  Wikipedia

Unbroken is a fantastic story of hope, sacrifice and the life changing message of the Gospel. It is unknown how much of the Christian message will be in the film adaptation, but there are many films throughout cinematic history that have a strong Christian theme. Not being a fan of Christian films, this is a list of quality films that contain a strong Christian theme. 

Discernment: Some of these films have adult themes and content, but for the mature viewer they can open the door to great conversations about the Bible and Jesus. Look up the details for the film on IMDb or Reel Dialogue and enjoy some of these great films.
