Director's Focus - RR's top 5 films from Tim Burton

Every once and awhile, I will put together a short compilation of some of the most influential directors in film. When considering a film to watch this weekend, this might help you to choose better films.
Tim Burton is one of Hollywood’s most left of centre film directors. Yet, with the dark contrast that Burton contributes to the film world. He opens the door to many conversation on the dark side of human nature and spirituality. I love to analyse his films for artistry and for the spiritual underpinnings of his work.
He has a bizarre style that can be quickly identified as Tim Burton's style, from Beetlejuice to Batman to Alice in Wonderland. Some of his films have been received well by the general public and some have been critically acclaimed and failed at the box office. Tim Burton expressed an early interest in campy horror films, but has gone on to help Disney animators stylings fresh.
Love him or hate him, he has put out some of the most influential films throughout the past three decades.
Here are RR's top five Tim Burton films:
1. Edward Scissorhands
2. Batman (1989)
3. Big Fish
4. Alice in Wonderland (2010)
5. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
